In peaceful countryside on the edge of the vineyard of the Champagne district, this enchanting estate dates from the beginning of the 19 th Century and includes an L shaped Maison de Maitre with outbuildings and many original features and an estate of nearly 30 hectares completely unencumbered. The grounds are particularly charming bordered by a river. This countryside is also popular for the plentiful game and the estate includes 25 hectares of forest. The Maison de Maitre is an ancient medieval Priory, built on the original cloisters and comprising:

Ground Floor: Entrance hall of about 25 m² in the form of a gallery, vaulted ceilings in a cradle shape, and flagstone floor with black cabochons inserts. Off the hall is a Salon of approx. 30 m² with parquet floor, marble fireplace, low woodwork, moldings, an original stove, dining room (about 31 m²) with parquet, with cupboards and low woodwork, moldings, stove from Alsace; Pantry (about 10 m²) with tiled floor, with cupboards including boiler; toilet. Kitchen (about 24 m²) equipped with tiled floor; Servants' entrance (about 8 m²) and small access room with cupboards, opening onto a vestibule with wooden staircase, wood panelling and stone floor, opening onto the inner courtyard. Inner Courtyard
An extension of the Maison de Maitre to the south forms a small inner courtyard for secondary use access, opens onto semi buried cellars, with an old stone staircase leading to the corridor on the 1st floor, on a small space on a bedroom ' à four' (old kitchens) including stone fireplace, sink stone and a remarkable "pool" dating from the fourteenth century - the remains of the former chapel of the priory.

Basement: Accessed by a stone staircase, the only preserved part of the old chapel, a barrel vaulted room, formerly used as sacristy, another room also vaulted and adjoining the previous one. A portion of this last room was once a prison. Some bays of the thirteenth century are preserved.

First floor: Through the vestibule, the main staircase leads to an L-shaped gallery with about a dozen rooms with Empire period marble fireplaces, and rejoining the main staircase to the south. West Room (approx. 11m ²) with low panelling and small bathroom with sink, a large master bedroom (approx. 27m ²) with marble fireplace, trumeau mirror and bathroom ensuite (approx. 8m ²), opposite, a wc taken in a passage. To the north, a library with a marble fireplace with trumeau, 19th C. woodwork on Versailles parquet, with access to a small bedroom (about 18 m²) with en-suite bathroom, bedroom with mirror marble fireplace and access to the corridor (about 15 m²). Two rooms with wood panelling: washrooms each with sink and small cabinet / dressing 19 and 20 m². Door to south & gallery leads to a landing serving the old staircase of honour, two rooms with marble fireplace, one with trumeau, the last to restore completely, then in the extension a W.C. and an old room with cupboards partly under the attics.

Attic: The main staircase leads to the attic, not insulated, including 6 old maids rooms and the rest divided into three parts, pine flooring.

Outbuildings. Caretaker's House, 80 m ², in the courtyard, consisting of kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and a shower room. There is a small enclosed courtyard with private garden to the east ( former aviary and chicken shed.
