Fabulous historical château and vineyard estate, situated on a hillside close to downtown Avignon, with its TGV train station and the beautiful 'Palais des Papes', one of the largest medieval Gothic buildings in Europe. Easily accessed with the motorway axis and only 50 minutes to Marseille international airport.

Accessed via a majestic alley of plane trees, the Château dates back to the XIIIth century but the actual XVIIIth century architecture presents several styles harmoniously combined. It offers 750m2 of living space with one main part of 550m2 and a second adjoining area of 200m2. There is also an independent apartment of 180m2.

Outbuildings: Wine shop, office, personnel accommodation.
Land: The château is surrounded by a wooded park of one hectare.

The estate spreads over 41 hectares, 39 of which are vines. 33 hectares are classed in AOP Côtes du Rhône and the remaining IGP.

Grape varieties:
AOP Red : Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault, Mourvèdre.
IGP Red : Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
AOP White : Bourboulenc, Marsanne and Viognier.

The average production is about 2000 hl a year. The production is sold in bulk to a regional trading company with an annual contract and 10000-15000 bottles are sold to France and abroad.

Winery: Adjoining the château is a winery equipped with 3000 hl of cement and stainless steel vats used for the vinification and ageing of the wines. Needs modernisation.
