Finding
a Property through the Private Sales Site of Sifex Ltd
|
|
|
If you feel that you would prefer
to find your property without the services of a French or English
estate agent, whatever the reason, then this website is for you.
The properties illustrated here are examples of the sort of properties
that are advertised on the site by vendors.
|

|
The vendors who place their advertisements
on this site are mainly 'owner occupiers' who are able to conduct
viewings to fit in with the time scales of potential purchasers.
Negotiations take place purely between the vendor and the prospective
purchaser apart, of course, from the eventual intervention of a
notaire to formalise the sale and perform the necessary conveyancing.
|

|
It should be remembered that a notaire's
involvement is obligatory in the transfer of property in France.
Their fees are strictly regulated and are equivalent to conveyancing
and stamp duty in the U.K. Generally speaking they are usually in
the region of 6% of which 1% is the notaire's fee and the balance
is government taxes. It is always wise to enquire at the outset
what the likely charges will be. When a loan is involved, an extra
fee of 1% applies for the registration of a mortgage with the Bureau
des Hypothèques.
|

|
This Private Sales site is growing
daily and is of course advantageous to those sufficiently confident
of the buying process to wish to buy privately without the intervention
and assistance of either agents in France or introducing agents
in the U.K. We would just like to reiterate that Sifex takes no
responsibility for the content of the advertisements placed on this
Private Sales website which are entirely at the discretion of the
advertisers who have paid for their listings and who have provided
the information which is portrayed here.

 |
If you wish to view a property listed
on this section of the site, you must contact the vendors directly
through the details posted on their advertisement.
